What kind of church is New Life?
New Life is a non-denominational Christian Church. You may have seen our name before because we have
multiple campuses around the city of Chicago. We have pastors on staff that are graduates of Moody Bible Institute, Trinity Evangelical, Wheaton College and various other area religious and secular schools. For more on “what we believe” feel free to check out our statement of faith.
How long has this church been in the area?
What is now New Life Community Church started in 1986 under the leadership of Mark Jobe, but our historical roots in Chicago can be traced back to the late 1800s. We have had the privilege of adopting and restarting several historic churches in Chicago that date back over 100 years. We consider their history our history and our legacy intertwined. I guess we could be considered a new church with an ancient history.
What are the worship service times?
Each Sunday morning we have 4 worship services at our Midway campus.

11:00 AM Main Auditorium
12:30 NOON Main Auditorium

Where should I park?
There is a large parking lot on the south side of our building which can be entered through Keeler Avenue. Our parking lot attendants will be available to direct you to our main entrance.
See map.
Is there access to public transportation?
The Orange line train to Midway airport has a stop less than a block away. Exit at the Pulaski stop. There are also CTA buses that run down Archer Ave that will have stops very close to our building.
Who are the pastors and staff?
Currently New Life has over 45 people on staff in various positions throughout Chicago. The primary teaching pastors at our Midway campus are Mike Berry 9:00; Mark Jobe at 10:15 and 12noon and George Sosa at 10:15 in Spanish. Is there a children’s program on Sunday mornings?
We currently have a children’s ministry called Kids Zone that serves children from birth to 5th grade. We encourage parents to drop their children off before worship service. For security purposes each child must be signed in at the Kids Zone reception center. Each parent will receive a badge that they must present when signing their child out. Our children workers have been screened and trained for their position. If your child is sick we ask that you keep them with you during the worship service.
What if my children need me while I’m in the service?
When you sign your child in to the Kids Zone you will receive a badge with a number on it. This number corresponds to a badge your child will have clipped on their shirt. If your child needs you during service one of our children’s workers will flash that number on a screen at the front of the auditorium. This will alert you to the fact that you are needed in the Kids Zone.
What should I wear?
This is one of the most common questions people ask. We do not have a standard church dress code, but generally speaking people come in casual or business casual clothes. We attract people from all ages and a variety of backgrounds, so come as you are. We look forward to seeing you not what you are wearing.
