Mark Jobe
Lead Pastor
Mark is the lead pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago, IL (www.newlifechicago.org). He and his wife Dee have seen New Life grow from a handful of people to over 5000 thousand meeting at 19 campuses with 31worship services each weekend.
Mark is the founder of New Life Centers, a non-for-profit organization focused on providing critical support systems for youth in underserved areas of Chicago (www.nlcenters.org).
Pastor Mark's desire is to see cities everywhere transformed by life-giving communities of faith. MultipliCity is a resource network he and his team have started for that purpose (www.multiplicitynetwork.org).
Mark holds degrees from Columbia International University - BA, Moody Theological Seminary - MA, and Bakke Graduate University - Dmin.

Mike Berry
Associate Pastor
Mike Berry grew up in the suburbs north of Chicago. While at Western Illinois University he met some friends that introduced him to Christianity. Sensing a desire to learn more about God he went on to study at Moody Bible Institute and received his Masters of Divinity from Trinity International University in Deerfield. During his college years Mike began attending New Life and fell in love with the vision of the church and with his wife to be, Debbie. In 1994, Mike joined the New Life staff and has served every since in various ministry capacities. He currently oversees adult home groups, training and coaching of small group leaders, assimilation of newcomers and organizing church wide events. Pastor Mike is married to Debbie and they have three children.
George Sosa
Pastor of Midway Spanish
Pastor George was born is Tampico, Mexico and came to the United States at the age of four. He and his wife Margie grew up in Chicago and came to know the Lord in 1979. Over the years they have served in various ministries in several areas throughout Chicago. George is bilingual and has traveled with a number of musical groups. He is known for his excitement and passion for worshipping God.
George and Margie have been married for over 25 years and have two wonderful daughters and three grandchildren. Pastor George currently serves as the Pastor of the New Life Midway Spanish congregation.
Vilma Arguelles
Director of operations
Vilma is a native of Chicago. She graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a BA in Fine Arts and minor in theatre. She has worked professionally as a sound engineer and functions as a Director of Operations and Creative Arts Coordinator at New Life. She enjoys helping people find their place in ministry and spearheading all church events. Vilma has led women's groups for years and is affectionately known as "V".
Dee Jobe
Childrens Ministry Director
Dee grew up in Chicago and became a believer at an early age. As a little girl she dreamed of serving God on the mission field. She graduated from St Augustine High School and pursued a career in the business sector. She worked in numerous high level administrative positions for several corporations. Although her career was doing well her heart was increasingly drawn towards ministry. Finally, Dee quit her job and enrolled at Moody Bible Institute. She studied both at Moody and Columbia International University to prepare for ministry. In 1986 she married Mark Jobe and together they helped start what is now New Life Community Church. Over the years Dee has lead various ministries and served numerous capacities. Currently she oversees the children’s ministry at Midway that involves over 100 adult volunteers and a couple hundred children. She also leads the Pastor’s wives small group that meets bi-weekly.
