What kind of church is New Life?
New Life is a non-denominational Christian Church. You may have seen our name before because we have multiple campuses around the city of Chicago. Our pastoral team are graduates of Moody Bible Institute, Trinity Evangelical, Wheaton College and various other area religious and secular schools.

How long has this church been in the area?
What is now New Life Community Church started in 1986 but our historical roots in Chicago can be traced back to the late 1800s. We have had the privilege of adopting and restarting several historic churches in Chicago that date back over 100 years. We consider their history our history and our legacy intertwined. I guess we could be considered a new church with an ancient history.

Where is New Life located?
New Life is a multi-site church. This means we are at multiple locations although we remain one church. We currently have 15 locations in and around the city of Chicago. Click here to see a map with our locations.

Who is the pastor?
Currently New Life has over 20 pastors and over 50 people on staff in various ministries throughout the city. Mark Jobe serves as our lead pastor, but each location has a campus pastor that focuses on the ministries of that community. What should I wear to a worship service?
This is one of the most common questions people ask. We do not have a standard church dress code, but generally speaking people come in casual or business casual clothes. We attract people from all ages and a variety of backgrounds, so come as you are. We look forward to seeing you not what you are wearing.

What does New Life believe?

Where does the funding come from?
New Life is completely funded by the voluntary donations of its members. Several thousand people have been touched by this ministry and give to support hundreds of programs and New Life ministries throughout the city of Chicago.

Is New Life affiliated with a denomination?
New Life is a non-denominational Christian church. We cooperate with many other life giving churches and have friends and partners from various denominations throughout Chicago, but we have chosen to be non-denominational.
