New Life Ministries

Small Groups at New Life are a key way we help people grow spiritually and get connected relationally. These Groups provide an opportunity for people to find authentic community and deeper relationships that lead to a closer walk with God.

New Life Centers of Chicagoland, NFP is a young, vibrant nonprofit founded by New Life Community Church to address our city's deepest issues. Key programs, each created and conducted with community members, include domestic abuse prevention, gang intervention, and youth mentoring.  Walking alongside its participants, New Life Centers provides resources and relationships to help youth and families experience fullness of life.  Learn how you can join in at www.nlcenters.org. 

  

Helping churches renew sacred space and flow like a movement for the good of the city.  New Life Chicago has formed MultipliCity to help resource and multiply the movement of churches that are embracing a whole city mindset across the country and in the cities of the world.  We do this through coaching, training experiences and print and media resources.

 

La Industria was birthed in 2002 with the vision to take ContraCorriente’s aim of “mentoring” further than it had done so far.  La Industria offers discipleship and training opportunities to young people, the main one being a 9-month program which has a strong emphasis on music and arts. About 20 young people have been able to be in the 9-month program so far, and about 130 in the summer camps. We have seen lives completely changed, characters shaped, gifts discovered and sharpened, relationships restored, hearts healed, etc!  La Industria trainees create artistic productions which we offer to churches as a resource for the building of their youth groups and for outreach.   We have a fantastic number of opportunities to travel with the students to serve local churches of all denominations and sizes, all over the country.  Recently doors have been opened to go into high schools and we are planning on taking Jesus’ words and love to more and more students in the coming years.   www.la-industria.org



ContraCorriente (which means “Against the Flow”) exists to motivate, mentor and mobilize young people to live the Great Commandment and fulfil the Great Commission.  Through prayer, a vision to gather the Christian youth scattered throughout the nation of Spain was birthed. The idea was to organize events for these young people to encourage them in their personal relationship with God and to help them build the Church in Spain. The first youth conference was in 1997 and there has been an annual one ever since as well as other events. Thousands of young people’s lives have been touched by God at ContraCorriente events, many have met Jesus for the first time, and many have recommitted their lives to God.  Other fruit that we have seen is the launching of many ministries by young people throughout Spain; a well known one would be 24-7 Prayer Spain.   www.contracorriente.org

The LoveStops series has stopped, but performing a LoveStop shouldn't!  Love your neighbor as yourself.  Jesus called this the first human priority after loving God.
