SMALL GROUP LEADERSHIP

 LADIES, SAVE THE DATE! – WOMEN’S RETREAT
·         Aug. 20-21 (Fri-Sat) at Bethel Park Retreat Center in Bridgeman, MI.
·         The cost is $70 includes stay & meals on Sat. 
·         The Topic: Longing, loving & living in God’s Grace. It will be low key nothing too overwhelming or heavy.
·         The purpose: growth & encouragement on your spiritual journey.
·         This is like a giant slumber party with all your favorite women friends it’s going to be fun!

MEN’S CONFERENCE
Join with men from across the city for a one night men's conference at our New Life Cicero location:  Friday, August 6th, 7-10pm.  Chicago pastor James Ford will be the featured speaker and registration is only $20.  Plan for a night of encouragement and challenge.  Registration is online at newlifechicago.org or you can pay at the door.  New Life Cicero is located at 3601 S. 61st Ave. in Cicero.
 
 
GREG LAURIE: CHICAGO HARVEST 2010
Greg Laurie: Chicago Harvest 2010 will feature three nights of live music from top Christian music artists and evangelistic messages from Pastor Greg Laurie on all three nights. This crusade will be held at All State Arena September 24-26. There are promotional bumper stickers and book markers at the end of service by the information desk. Let’s take a look at the video for this event.

Welcome Team: NEED 4 people
The Welcome Team is seeking volunteers to serve at the Information Desk on Sunday mornings.  These friendly people would stand at the Information Desk before and after the service to distribute information, answer questions, assist in program sign-ups, and help guide attendees around the building. Hospitality Team: NEED: 2 people
Do you have a passion for caffeine, cake and people? We are looking for a couple more java juggernauts, tea titans and people-lovers to serve with us. "The Few. The Proud. The Caffeinated." HAITI MISSIONS TRIP/AUG. 7-15, 2010
·         The total cost of the trip will be between $1,500 and $2,000.  New Life will be subsidizing part of these costs, using some of the funds contributed for earthquake damage assistance.
·         The team is still being formed, so there is still room for additional members.  The work will be construction related, so the team will need people with experience in construction, but also people who are able to help tear down and clean up rubble still remaining from the earthquake.
·         We are also planning a mandatory training/orientation session on the evening of Friday, July 9, and during the day of Saturday, July 10.
