HIS KIDS CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
We have a safe, kid-friendly, fun-filled environment for our children to grow and learn about God. This is open to all children from birth through 6th grade.  We also have a mother’s room for nursing moms, where you can continue listening to the service while caring for your children. Speak with an usher or follow the signs to locate our children’s area and classrooms.

Opportunities to Get Involved

WANTED: Growing Christians eager to serve; must be able to serve one Sunday morning a month 
 
 
Greeters and Information Host: NEED: 2 greeters/1 Information Host Details: Looking for a growing Christian who enjoys making people feel welcome.  Can communicate well, is friendly, and wants to help people connect to New Life.  Must be able to work one Sunday morning a month.  If this describes you, join the Welcome Ministry Team.  Contact EJ Lyon atejl@newlifechicago.org
 
 
Connections Café’:  NEED: 3 people
DETAILS:Serve one Sunday a month as a host in the café. Responsibilities include making coffee and putting out light refreshments. The host will help connect with people in the café and make everyone feel welcome.

Children’s Ministry:   NEED: 6 people
DETAILS:Serve one Sunday a month. If you like children and want to make a difference in their lives, this should be a very rewarding opportunity for you.

FUNDRAISING LUNCH TODAY/HAITI MISSIONS TRIP
We are very excited to send a New Life Team to serve in Haiti. During their time there, they will be building a water well in Porte Prince Haiti. The dates are August 7th thru the 15th. If you will like to contribute in any way please talk with Tim Stefl (773-216-3382). Please support them TODAY after second service for $5 lunch and a brief update on the trip. Please pray, 1. That all the funds will be raised. 2. Safety for the team while they are away. 3. For the water well to be completed. 4. For God to move in the hearts of the team members.
 
 
NEWCOMERS MINGLE
If you’re looking to meet real people and get connected at New Life our newcomers mingle is the place for you! Join us Sunday, August 1st after each service. Light refreshments will be served.
 
 
SMALL GROUP LEADERSHIP
Save the Date:  North - side Zone Refuel, Tuesday August 31 at 7pm here at New Life Lakeview.  Please plan to attend if you are currently a small group leader, assistant small group leader, small group host, and small group coach. 
 
 
LADIES, SAVE THE DATE! – WOMEN’S RETREAT
·         Aug. 20-21 (Fri-Sat) at Bethel Park Retreat Center in Bridgeman, MI.
·         The cost is $70 includes stay & meals on Sat.  
·         The Topic: Longing, loving & living in God’s Grace. It will be low key---nothing too overwhelming or heavy.
·         The purpose: growth & encouragement on your spiritual journey.

MEN’S CONFERENCE
Join with men from across the city for a one night men's conference at our New Life Cicero location:  Friday, August 6th, 7-10pm.  Chicago pastor James Ford will be the featured speaker and registration is only $20.  Plan for a night of encouragement and challenge.  Registration is online at newlifechicago.org or you can pay at the door.  New Life Cicero is located at 3601 S. 61st Ave. in Cicero.

Beginning August 1st we will be offering
Children’s Church during first service.
It will be an interactive time of learning through games, group lessons, and memorizing God’s truth for your
children!
Children ages 2—kindergarten will be meeting
in the fireside room
 Children in grades 1st-6th will be
meeting in the 5th/6th grade Sunday school room.
