Who We Are
This historic church which has met on the corner of 36th and 61st avenue in Cicero since 1947 has undergone some changes. What has been Faith Lutheran Church is now New Life Community Church-Cicero. September 21st 2008 we celebrated our Grand Opening with over 400 people in attendance.

We are one block west of Austin at 3601 South 61st Avenue in Cicero. We have a contemporary style of worship with a message that is relevant for all ages. We are seeing young families, couples, and single people from various communities.

We gather, sing, pray, serve, teach, lead and celebrate every week, in large gatherings and in small groups. We love the town of Cicero and we want to serve the people in a way that points them to Jesus.

Join us after the service in our Café for fellowship and refreshments!
Vision
New Life’s big vision is to reach and gather 1% of the greater Chicagoland area (30,000 people) in Jesus’ name. We do that by planting life-giving congregations of different sizes and cultures all over the greater Chicagoland.

At New Life Cicero our vision is to work with our other locations to help accomplish that 1% vision in this region of the city by birthing new congregations in the surrounding communities, La Grange, Oak Park, Berwyn, Riverside, North Riverside, Lyons, Stickney and Summit.

We envision a web of interdependent locations that serve their specific communities in Jesus name with a spirit of cooperation and blessing. And as we do, we will also be a connector of other life-giving churches and leaders so that we can cooperate in loving the city and bringing Jesus to the city.
