What's Happening at New Life Berwyn... 

2010 Vacation Bible School: 

Mark your calendars so your kids can “Soak up the fun at VBS—High Seas Expedition” this summer! The Children’s Ministry at New Life Community Church Berwyn will be hosting Vacation Bible School this summer for the kids at New Life Berwyn and the Berwyn community, ages Kindergarten—5th grade children. VBS will be held on July 28— July 31 from 6:00 pm—8: 30 pm and August 1st at 12:15 pm. On Sunday parents and children are welcome to join us for our “Floating Finale” where there will be outdoor games, food, and prizes. You can register your child or children at our VBS Website in advance or register them the first day of VBS only here at New Life Berwyn, 1900 S. Oak Park Avenue. If you are interested in volunteering, there is a section on the website where you can sign up or you can speak to our Children’s Ministry leader, Christina Hernandez.        

 

Current Series - Together:  
People are more connected now than ever before in history. invention of the telephone, car, and airplane have been complemented today with the computer, internet, and cell phone. have countless and constant opportunities to be connected with others. , people are lonelier and more isolated than ever. Relationships stay shallow and we struggle to go deeper. 's answer to reconcile people to Himself and one another is seen in the family of love called the church, the body of Christ. the remainder of the summer we are going to be looking at Acts chapter 2 in order to discover the prototype of “life together.” As we study the early church our dream will be to replicate the power, passion and patterns of the early believers.

Water Baptism:
In Matthew 28:19 Jesus told the disciples "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." If you are interested in being baptized in water please see Melissa Ayala.  

 

Children's Ministry...


Children's Center:
Nursery has two classes. One is for Newborn’s-2 year old. The second is for Preschoolers 3 -5 years old. The babies room is located in the lower level in the classroom to the right of the stage. The preschoolers meet in the classroom room behind the stage. Please go to the lower level with your child/children to sign them in. If you would prefer for your child to stay with you during our service, please sit in the reserved back pews of the church. Thank you.


Children's Church:
Children’s Church is for Kindergarten - 5th grade. The Children’s Church room is located in the lower level right in front of the stage. Please go to the basement with your child/children to sign them in. 


Youth Ministry...

Armored Youth Ministry:
Meets every 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month in the lower level of the church after worship.  Armored Youth is open to all youth 14-18 years of age, and it is led by Rev. Joshua Morales.
